We loved New Zealand. Our trip was amazing. The scenery was spectacular. Everything you chose for us was great. All the pick up times and hotels were perfect.
We loved the tours. The overnight in Doubtful Sound was the highlight with only 6 of us as passengers. Hobitton was definitely worthwhile. We enjoyed the wine tours and the performance by the Maori natives. We zip lined, went up in a helicopter, fished, and kayaked.

We are pretty much back to normal as far as jet lag goes.

We had a fabulous trip! We had so much fun and saw so many interesting and neat things – it was awesome! The itinerary you put together for us was perfect for us. We had the right combination of planned activities and time to leisurely make our way between destinations, taking in the sights and walks along the way! We’re happy to say that driving in NZ proved to be much easier than we anticipated :). All of the accommodations were great. The ones that had breakfast included served a bountiful breakfast! We would recommend any/all of them to future travelers.

Your New Zealand support team were very responsive, helpful and kind. They took away any last minute worries that we had as we went along. It was both helpful and reassuring to have someone in NZ who could answer those last minute questions!

NZ is a beautiful destination, and one that we would be happy to return to at some point in the future.

Thanks to Dianne, our recent tour of New Zealand and Australia was truly a trip of a lifetime. It had been our dream to have our delayed honeymoon in Australia and New Zealand for so long that we can not believe that it really happened!

My husband and I have traveled before thru travel agencies but we have never had a catered trip before. Boy, did Dianne deliver! She had everything laid out for us. It was wonderful from the pickups to the tour guides, the hotel rooms and her suggestions. She chose an overnight boat trip for us and that is something we will never forget.
It rained and snowed all day but it was beautiful with the clouds and sun coming through. This was just an amazing trip and we have her and her crew to thank for all the wonderful memories.

If anyone should even mention a trip I would recommend her in a heartbeat.

A colleague told me about a wonderful trip she had to New Zealand and recommended we contact GoWalkabout Travel. Dianne was quick to email me back and took a lot of time getting to know what we wanted out of our trip. Within a few weeks, a customized itinerary was sent to us. We didn’t have to do a thing! Dianne took care of every last detail. In fact, when our flight was delayed out of the states, Dianne answered the phone (at almost midnight) and averted what seemed like a crisis. In spite of traveling heavily for 15 years, I’ve never worked with someone who took such attention to detail and had so much insider information. We plan to use her again in future travels and can’t say enough good things about her!!!

Just wanted to say thank you for a great trip and give a few feedback comments.

Thanks for the tips to bring warmer clothing, it was definitely needed at Wulpa Gorge trip in Uluru and Kangaroo Island and Sydney.

The tours through Kangaroo Island were also outstanding and we got our fill of kangaroos and wallabies which we then barely saw for the rest of the trip outside of zoos. The food served on the lunches on those trips were the best meals we had in Australia. The Aurora Hotel was perfectly adequate for a night and the dinner was actually rather good considering its isolation in Kingscote.

Your support team in Australia was excellent and got in touch with us on several occasions to confirm travel arrangements that were changed by airlines- really appreciated having that added support and protection in a foreign country.

Once again, thanks for a great trip and you have  a great team backing you up.  I couldn’t have done this on my own. It ‘s your fault that I unexpectedly fell in love with Australia and will have to return at a later date!

We both can’t believe it’s our last weekend in New Zealand! Our time here has gone so quickly. There is not one thing we would have changed, and that says a lot I think….

Each of the 3 guided walks we did were exceptional, with all the guides being so personable and knowledgeable. We saw and experienced things we wouldn’t have done on our own (and these outings definitely made the most of our available time). The locations and choices for our accommodations have been perfect. The settings have been amazing! A big shout out to our hosts at the 2 B&B’s we stayed at! These were a big surprise- superb accommodations and gracious hosts in lovely picture perfect settings! (great food too!!).

You have crafted a wonderful itinerary for us. We would definitely not have been able to see and experience everything we have, without your guidance. Thanks again for everything!
