DAY 1 - HANOI

After clearing customs and immigration, proceed outside with your luggage. You will be met by our representative and escorted to your chosen hotel.

DAY 2 - HANOI

Sightseeing in Hanoi
Visit Ethnographic Museum - Visit Temple of Literature (Van Mieu Temple) This is the biggest temple attraction in Hanoi. Also visit Ho Chi Minh's house. Visit One Pillar Pagoda (Chua Mot Cot Thu Du) Visit Water Puppet Show, a fantastic art form originating in northern Vietnam, best seen in Hanoi. The Municipal Water Puppet Theater is located on the shore of Hoan Kiem Lake.
Overnight in Hanoi

DAY 3 - HOA BING/MAI CHAU/HANOI

Journey west along Highway 6 across Ha Tay and Hoa Binh Province. Son Tay Province is 45 km northwest of Hanoi. Visit the Sugarcane Pagoda in the village of Dong Sang (Son Tay Province).
Sightseeing Mai Chau, the closest authentic Montagnard village to Hanoi. Mai Chau is very rural and most of the people here are ethnic White Tai, distantly related to tribes in Thailand, Laos and China.
Overnight in Hanoi.

DAY 4 - HANOI/HUE

Transfer - Flight from Hanoi to Hue - Transfer - Sightseeing Imperial Tombs of Tu Duc and Khai Dinh.
Overnight in Hue.

DAY 5 - HUE

Sightseeing Thien Mu Pagoda and Tomb of Emperor Minh Mang with boat trip. Visit Old Imperial City built in the early 19th century, it was modeled after the Forbidden City of Peking. There are numerous palaces and temples within these walls, as well as towers, a library and a museum. Overnight in Hue.

DAY 6 - HUE/DANANG/HOI AN

Journey south along Highway 1 past the Hai Van Pass. The pass crosses over a spur of the Truong Son Mountain Range that just into the South China Sea. It is an incredible mountainous stretch of highway with spectacular views. Lang Co, a pretty, island-like stretch of palm-shaded sand with a crystal-clear lagoon on one side and many km of beachfront facing the South China Sea. Sightseeing in Danang, Vietnam's fourth largest city marks the northern limits of Vietnam's tropical zone, boasting a pleasant year-round climate

DAY 7 - HOI AN/DANANG/SAIGON

Sightseeing Hoi An and boat trip on the Thu Bon River - Hoi An is a picturesque riverside town south of Danang. Known as Faifo to early western traders, it was one of South East Asia's major international ports during the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries. It is best to visit some of the following sites of Hoi An by walking around and/or by cyclo.
Transfer from Hoi An to Danang Airport - Flight from Danang to Saigon. Overnight in Saigon.

DAY 8 - SAIGON

Sightseeing in Saigon and Cholon (Chinatown)
Saigon is the largest of Vietnamese cities, and one will see the hustle and bustle of Vietnamese life everywhere. There are street markets, pavement cafes and sleek new cafes and pubs. The city churns and bubbles. Yet within this teeming metropolis are 300 years of timeless traditions and the beauty of an ancient culture. To the wet of the city is district 5, the huge Chinese neighborhood called Cholon, which means 'Big Market'. Overnight in Saigon.

DAY 9 - SAIGON

Excursion to Cu Chi Tunnels
CU CHI TUNNELS: Cu Chi was an important base during the American War, because of its strategic location. The Vietcong built a 200km long network of tunnels connecting command posts, hospitals, shelter and weapon factories. Dug out of hard laterite by hand tools without the use of cement, this amazing network was never discovered. *Optional cooking class with top television chef at her home. Overnight in Saigon.

DAY 10 - SAIGON

Excursion to My Tho with boat trip on the Mekong
MY THO: capital of Tien Giang Province. The economy is based on fishing and the cultivation of rice, coconuts, bananas, mangoes, longans and citrus fruit.
MEKONG DELTA: this is the southernmost region of Vietnam, formed by sediment deposited by the Mekong River. Silt deposits extend the delta shoreline at the mouth of the river by as much as 79m per year. The area is known as Vietnam's 'bread basket' and produces the rice, which feeds the entire country. Visit one or two of the islands with traditional handcrafts, bee farms and coconut candy production. Overnight in Saigon

DAY 11 - SAIGON/SIEM REAP

Transfer - Flight from Saigon to Siem Reap - Arrival in Siem Reap - Transfer - Excursion to Kbal Spien
KBAL SPIEN: also known as the River of 1000 Lingas, there are carvings in the riverbed (in the same way as at Kulen). It should be more spectacular but many of the carvings have been looted. Near Kbal Spien is a waterfall that can be reached by hiking 2km uphill. Overnight in Siem Reap.

DAY 12 - SIEM REAP

Sightseeing Angkor - Visit Angkor Wat - Visit Preah Khan - Visit Banteay Srei Temple - Visit Chantiers Ecoles (Artisans d'Angkor) - Overnight in Siem Reap.

DAY 13 - SIEM REAP

Sightseeing Angkor - Visit Angkor Thom - Visit Prasat Kravan - Visit Banteay Kdei Temple - Visit Sras Srang - Visit Ta Prohm - Visit Thommanon - Visit Chau Say Tevoda - Overnight in Siem Reap.

DAY 14 - SIEM REAP

Departure transfer for your flight home.
